Share Our Strength – No Kid Hungry Campaign, Southern California

Andrea Cuellar is a licensed Real Estate agent and a Senior Program Manager for Share Our Strength-No Kid Hungry Campaign in Southern California. In her tenure, she has built strong stakeholder relationships to expand Federal Nutrition programs by bringing awareness and solutions to end child hunger in Southern California and the rest of the country. 

As someone who immigrated to the United States at the age of 13, she deeply understands the challenges and barriers Latino families face in social mobility; thus, making it her commitment and passion to support and empower communities of color.


As a community leader and advocate, she has co-created paid internships in partnership with the Riverside County Office of Education and has helped fund mobile food banks for farm-working families. In addition, using her marketing background, she has successfully mobilized the Vote in Spanish-speaking communities.


Andrea also has served as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of California Riverside (UCR). She holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from UCR and several other degrees from Riverside Community College. She has received numerous awards in various years for her impactful community work, including Change Maker of the Year, Impact of the Year, and Commitment to End Child Hunger awards from Celebration Nation Foundation. She also has been recognized as a Community Hero by the Riverside County Office of Education and received Outstanding Dedication awards from the City of South El Monte, the City of Azusa, the California Legislature Assembly, and the State of California Senate.
