Michael Herrera is a dynamic business leader with extensive experience in supply chain management, compliance, and community engagement. Over the course of his career, he has held executive leadership roles in several major industries—including construction, utilities, and healthcare—where he successfully led strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiated large-scale agreements, managed multi-million-dollar budgets, and developed supplier programs that supported over $2 billion in annual spend with small businesses.
Michael is now the full-time CEO and owner/operator of two youth-focused franchise businesses: Soccer Stars and Amazing Athletes. With a presence in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors, his organizations provide enrichment programs for children starting as young as 12 months old. Guided by the philosophy of less screen time and more green time, his programs emphasize active, outdoor play that promotes not only sport skill development, but also self-confidence, socialization, and a love of movement. Each session is thoughtfully designed to meet children where they are—physically, socially, and emotionally—offering a nurturing environment for all, including dedicated programming for Adaptive Needs youth.
In addition to his business ventures, Michael has served on several nonprofit advisory boards and remains actively engaged in community-based initiatives. When he's not expanding his programs or mentoring others, you can find him outdoors with his spouse and son, cheering on the San Francisco 49ers, or relaxing with an adult beverage in hand.
