What is the meaning of Latinícima®?
The Hispanic Coalition of Small Businesses coined the word Latinícima® from the root word, Latinism, which highlights the richness of Latin American and Hispanic societies and their impact on language and culture.
HCSB has intentionally changed the "S" in Latinísima® to a "C" in Latinícima® to encompass the meaning and symbolism of the word Cima.
The Spanish word Cima translates to English as the highest point, mountain top, the summit of a mountain, pinnacle, or a high-pointed rock or mountain. Rumbo a la Cima translates to "heading to the top" in English.
For us at HCSB, the coined word Latinícima® or Latinícimo™
signifies a strong Latina or Latino who is:
- Heading to the top .... Rumbo a la Cima
- Extending a hand to bring others along
- And, Reaching the Top ... The Pinnacle ... The Highest Point ... Together!
La Coalición Hispana de Pequeñas Empresas creó la palabra Latinícima® a partir de la raíz "latinismo", que resalta la riqueza de las sociedades latinoamericanas e hispanas y su impacto en el lenguaje y la cultura.
HCSB ha cambiado intencionadamente la "S" en Latinísima® por una "C", Latinícima®, para abarcar el significado y simbolismo de la palabra Cima.
La palabra española Cima se traduce al inglés como: el punto más alto; la cima de una montaña; la cumbre de una montaña; cima; o una roca o montaña de punta alta.
