As CEO and Principal Consultant of Corral Consulting, Richard Xavier Corral, MPP

brings over eighteen years of professional experience along with a lifelong commitment

to advancing the business of social change among the nonprofit, for profit, corporate,

community-based, government and philanthropic organizations with whom he consults. 

Mr. Corral seamlessly integrates his extensive formal studies, passion for building business know-how and big picture problem solving to craft win-win solutions around diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB), cannabis equity, education, health and wellness, green economies, LGBTQ equality, philanthropy, housing and homelessness and dockless mobility. Corral Consulting’s diverse clientele benefit from a comprehensive set of skills, strategies, content expertise and networks rarely assembled in one firm that

are essential to effecting change in today's fast paced world. What distinguishes Corral Consulting is our ability to empower clients to move from vision to action by crafting workable solutions that cut across business, community, and policy.


To complement his consulting work, Mr. Corral volunteers his time, talents and energy throughout Los Angeles. Thoroughly attuned to both the challenges and opportunities facing under-resourced communities, Mr. Corral provides pro bono consulting to several

local startup ventures, was the former board president to the San Gabriel Valley Consortium on Homelessness and currently serves on the boards of the Public Policy and International Affairs Fellowship Program (PPIA) and Honor PAC. Mr Corral was also an

elected representative on the Lincoln Heights Neighborhood Council, the Glendale Continuum of Care board and appointed to the City of Glendale Audit Commission.


Mr. Corral received a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of California at Berkeley, a master's degree in public policy from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and is a Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) Fellow.
